Garbage Disposal

If your garbage disposal should stop working for any reason here is a
list of steps you should follow.
1. Go to your circuit breaker and flip the breaker off prior to reaching
    your hand into the disposal.
2. Clear out anything located inside the disposal which could lead to
being jammed and the motor stopping for any reason.
3. Turn the breaker back on and then briefly flip the switch to the disposal
do you hear any noises from the disposal? If you hear a humming noise
then there is power and the problem is with the disposal and not your
   electricity.
4. If there is no noise, find the small reset button on the bottom of the
disposal and press to reset, it should be red or black.

If none of these steps solves the problem, then it is time to call Knights Electric.
